Honestly I didn't know that the due day of Amex charge cards is actually the
next closing date (as of right now). I'm a careful person and always try to
make payment by the date shown on the statement, but I did "missed" one
payment or two. I even called once to ask about the late fee, but was told
that I was not late at all. I was a little bit suspicious and now I know why.
The problem is, the due date in effect starting next year will be something
like 15 days after closing. Unlike the current convention, you won't have
buffer time anymore. Once you miss that date, you will have to pay $38 late
fee. Damn.
No matter how careful you are, it's getting harder to manage cards once you
have accumulated a bunch. The easiest thing might just be setting up autopay
for your charge card. | s******k 发帖数: 6659 | 2 Just noticed that some people found their payment period now to be 22 days
instead of 15 day. This would make much more sense, but technically you will
still be 8 or 9 days short starting from next year. | d********f 发帖数: 8289 | 3 who cares, always pay on the day when statement is out, never miss a thing. | s******k 发帖数: 6659 | 4 全职搞?我感觉一般上班一边撸卡的,都不太忙的过来
【在 d********f 的大作中提到】 : who cares, always pay on the day when statement is out, never miss a thing.
