avoid this fee.
Effective May 23, 2016, you can avoid the monthly maintenance fee by
maintaining $10,000 or more in combined U.S. personal deposit and investment
balances and qualifying commercial balances OR by maintaining $5,000 in
combined U.S. personal deposit and investment balances with a recurring
direct deposit. Qualifying direct deposits are electronic deposits of
regular periodic payments (such as salary, pension, Government Benefits or
other monthly income) made into your Advance checking account through third
parties at least once per monthly cycle.
If your account was opened on or after May 23, 2015 and prior to May 23,
2016, we will waive the monthly maintenance fee until May 23, 2017.
