发帖数: 124 | 1 I got the pending message and needed to send in some documentation for my
card. I bought the card on eBay, so I was sure, none of my information
matched the original purchasers information. I don't know if the original
purchasers information was real or not upon purchase, but he/she did
activate it with $1.00.
Just received a call from a representative from American Express and after a
few verification questions, stated the information they received is "
inconsistent" with the original purchase. He asked where I purchased the
card and I was honest and said I purchased it from eBay. He then said, if I
would like to cooperate and identify the eBay seller, they would close the
existing account and send me a new card to open a new account and I would
need to call the number on the packaging to activate, since Im in a State
that doesn't sell the cards. My existing account is closed immediately.
He mentioned these cards were never intended for resale. I told him I didn't
know of the terms and conditions as the cards are not sold in my State and
I never received the actual card. I was emailed a photo of the front of the
card so that I could "register" it online and receive a permanent card.
