Car rental Insurance:(说道这个话题，版上已经有好多好多好多讨论了。我觉得这个

-Chase UA:Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver(Auto Rental CDW)，虽然在段落标
题上没有提LDW，但是在what is covered部分有讲cover：1.CDW+LDW 2.loss of use 3
.towing charge。还有之前看过有人在版上说美国国内是15天，国外是1个月
，注意，这是错误信息。Terms上明确写的：The benefit only covers vehicle
rental periods that do not exceed or are not intended to exceed thirty-one (
31) consecutive days within or outside of your country of residence. 连续的
31天，无论国内国外。另外这个insurance是primary就不用多说了，但是他排出了一些
车型，基本都是豪车和8座以上的van，我觉得日常旅游租车时候很少有用到这些的。

Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption:
-Chase UA:感觉这个很小概率，直接复制粘贴term了就，Trip Cancellation
insurance reimburses you or your Immediate Family Members for up to ten
thousand ($10,000.00) dollars for each Covered Trip if a Covered Loss
prevents you or your Immediate Family Members from traveling on or before
the departure date and results in cancellation of the travel arrangements.
-AMEX SPG:好像没有
还有别的program比如road assistance（我有AAA，我就没仔细对比，看的眼睛累），
还有Travel accident（大家出去玩就放松心态吗，不要老想着出事儿嘛，所以我也没
看）。
综上所述，问题来了（挖掘机技术哪家强？），我感觉，单单从纸面上来说，AMEX SPG
除了car rental那一项在车型上有一点优势，别的都比不了Chase UA啊。那
为什么大家都相对比较推崇AMEX呢？可能是因为服务好？claim更容易的被处理？
我个人的经验，上述这些，我只用过citi家的price protection，我买了个笔记本，过
了可能有2月之后，降价了，比我用了150off coupon之后还降了大概$50，我就claim了
一下，也拿到了差额，感觉不是很麻烦。

关于误机丢包撞车啥的没有遇到过，不好评价。
但是用过几次AMEX SPG的90 days return服务，非常好。几十刀的东西，只要claim一
下就可以了，也不要求提供收据什么的，AMEX应该能查到交易记录。AMEX甚至没有要求
把东西寄回去，相当于白送。 |

这个信息倒是很有价值，之前我自己有遇见过本来当天能赶到目的地的，但是最后一个
航班被cancel了，不过我是在还未出发前就收到邮件说航班cancel了，我只能反复的打
电话改签，后来也没有在当天赶到，机场stayover了一夜，不过当时订票不是用的这两
张卡，所以我也没有什么可供参考的。
90天return我曾经试图想用过，当时买了个iPhone，过了一个月想退了，一看term，最
单次claim多$300。。。呵呵了
我当时claim citi price protection时候确实需要提供购买发票的复印件，statement
，哪家出来更低的新的价格什么的
可能amex没要求你寄回去是东西太便宜了吧。。算算运费划不来了，哈哈

信用卡的免费附加权益对我们也是很有帮助的，这个明目太多，我挑我觉得最有用的几
个简单的说一下吧。
Primary Rental Car Insurance：需要科普的童鞋请看我的review。大部分卡都只提供
secondary，目前有这些Chase卡有primary也就是再个人保险之前的：JPM Palladium,
JPM Ritz-Carlton, JMP Select, Chase MP Club, Chase MP Explorer, Chase
Fairmont。
Roadside Assistance道路救援：大部分卡都只是提供referral，你要自己掏钱，但这
几张卡有免费的：JPM Ritz-Carlton一年4次免费上限50美元但必须离家50英里以上；
Amex Green一年4次免费拖车10英里但必须离家50英里以上；Amex Gold/PR God/
Platinum最好，每年4次免费拖车10英里无论离家多远。
Travel Accident Insurance旅行事故保险：上限好像和卡的级别没有直接关系，举几
个例子吧，Amex SPG只有100K，Amex Platinum和Chase Sapphire Preferred都是500K
，JPM Ritz-Carlton和BofA Alaska是1M。
Trip Delay Reimbursement旅行延误：大部分卡都没有这个，这几张卡有：Sapphire
Preferred和JMP Ritz-Carlton都是延误必须大于12小时补偿上限每次500刀，Citi
Prestige延误必须大于6小时补偿上限每次250刀一年四次。
Lost Baggage Reimubursement行李丢失或损坏：Amex SPG没有，其他很多卡都有，上
限都是3000刀。
Baggage Delay Reimbursement行李延误：大部分卡都没有，Sapphire Preferred延误
必须超过6小时补偿上限每次500刀，Citi Prestige延误必须大于4小时补偿上限每次
500刀一年四次。
Price Protection价格保障：以前是Amex强项现在反而没有了，Chase和Citi很多高级
卡都有，最好的是这两个：Sapphire Preferred是120天之内每次上限500刀一年2500刀
，Citi Prestige是60天之内每次1000刀一年5000刀。
Extended Warranty延长保修：大部分卡都有，上限基本每次10K每年50K。
Event Ticket Protection: 大部分卡都有没有，只有：Ritz-Carlton和Amex Platinum
和Citi Prestige都是每年补偿上限4K。
根据你自己的需要，我感觉高端卡中Citi Prestige在纸面上最好（要比Amex Platinum
好很多），高级卡（年费150刀之内）中Sapphire Preferred最好甚至比很多高端卡都

What is covered?
Auto Rental CDW reimburses you for covered losses to the rental vehicle
while it is in your control or in control of another Authorized Person
permitted to operate it under your rental agreement. The benefit only covers

-Chase UA:Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver(Auto Rental CDW)，虽然在段落标
题上没有提LDW，但是在what is covered部分有讲cover：1.CDW+LDW 2.loss of use 3
.towing charge。还有之前看过有人在版上说美国国内是15天，国外是1个月
，注意，这是错误信息。Terms上明确写的：The benefit only covers vehicle
rental periods that do not exceed or are not intended to exceed thirty-one (
31) consecutive days within or outside of your country of residence. 连续的
31天，无论国内国外。另外这个insurance是primary就不用多说了，但是他排出了一些
车型，基本都是豪车和8座以上的van，我觉得日常旅游租车时候很少有用到这些的。

-Chase UA:感觉这个很小概率，直接复制粘贴term了就，Trip Cancellation
insurance reimburses you or your Immediate Family Members for up to ten
thousand ($10,000.00) dollars for each Covered Trip if a Covered Loss
prevents you or your Immediate Family Members from traveling on or before
the departure date and results in cancellation of the travel arrangements.
-AMEX SPG:好像没有
还有别的program比如road assistance（我有AAA，我就没仔细对比，看的眼睛累），
还有Travel accident（大家出去玩就放松心态吗，不要老想着出事儿嘛，所以我也没
看）。
综上所述，问题来了（挖掘机技术哪家强？），我感觉，单单从纸面上来说，AMEX SPG
除了car rental那一项在车型上有一点优势，别的都比不了Chase UA啊。那
为什么大家都相对比较推崇AMEX呢？可能是因为服务好？claim更容易的被处理？
我个人的经验，上述这些，我只用过citi家的price protection，我买了个笔记本，过
了可能有2月之后，降价了，比我用了150off coupon之后还降了大概$50，我就claim了
一下，也拿到了差额，感觉不是很麻烦。

关于误机丢包撞车啥的没有遇到过，不好评价。
但是用过几次AMEX SPG的90 days return服务，非常好。几十刀的东西，只要claim一
下就可以了，也不要求提供收据什么的，AMEX应该能查到交易记录。AMEX甚至没有要求
把东西寄回去，相当于白送。 |

这个信息倒是很有价值，之前我自己有遇见过本来当天能赶到目的地的，但是最后一个
航班被cancel了，不过我是在还未出发前就收到邮件说航班cancel了，我只能反复的打
电话改签，后来也没有在当天赶到，机场stayover了一夜，不过当时订票不是用的这两
张卡，所以我也没有什么可供参考的。
90天return我曾经试图想用过，当时买了个iPhone，过了一个月想退了，一看term，最
单次claim多$300。。。呵呵了
我当时claim citi price protection时候确实需要提供购买发票的复印件，statement
，哪家出来更低的新的价格什么的
可能amex没要求你寄回去是东西太便宜了吧。。算算运费划不来了，哈哈

Trip Delay Reimbursement旅行延误：大部分卡都没有这个，这几张卡有：Sapphire
Preferred和JMP Ritz-Carlton都是延误必须大于12小时补偿上限每次500刀，Citi
Prestige延误必须大于6小时补偿上限每次250刀一年四次。
Lost Baggage Reimubursement行李丢失或损坏：Amex SPG没有，其他很多卡都有，上
限都是3000刀。
Baggage Delay Reimbursement行李延误：大部分卡都没有，Sapphire Preferred延误
必须超过6小时补偿上限每次500刀，Citi Prestige延误必须大于4小时补偿上限每次
500刀一年四次。
Price Protection价格保障：以前是Amex强项现在反而没有了，Chase和Citi很多高级
卡都有，最好的是这两个：Sapphire Preferred是120天之内每次上限500刀一年2500刀
，Citi Prestige是60天之内每次1000刀一年5000刀。
Extended Warranty延长保修：大部分卡都有，上限基本每次10K每年50K。
Event Ticket Protection: 大部分卡都有没有，只有：Ritz-Carlton和Amex Platinum
和Citi Prestige都是每年补偿上限4K。
根据你自己的需要，我感觉高端卡中Citi Prestige在纸面上最好（要比Amex Platinum
好很多），高级卡（年费150刀之内）中Sapphire Preferred最好甚至比很多高端卡都

What is covered?
Auto Rental CDW reimburses you for covered losses to the rental vehicle
while it is in your control or in control of another Authorized Person
permitted to operate it under your rental agreement. The benefit only covers

What is covered?
Road service events, such as flat tires, dead batteries, running out of gas,
and lockouts are covered through Cross Country Motor Club, a leading
provider of roadside services. You are covered up to a maximum of $50 for
each service event, up to four events each year. Assistance will be provided
for one service event for the same cause during any consecutive 7-day
period. Coverage is provided while traveling in the U.S. and Canada and

repair facility or location of the motorist’s choice. Services will be
covered up to $50 for each event.
• 24 Hour Lockout Assistance – Should you accidently lock yourself
out of your vehicle, a qualified locksmith will be dispatched to remedy the
situation. Proper identification is required at the time of service. Members
are covered for locksmith services up to $50 for each event. (Replacement
key costs are the responsibility of the cardholder.)

Preferred和JMP Ritz-Carlton都是延误必须大于12小时补偿上限每次500刀，Citi

但是freedom的purchase protection是Covers your new purchases for 120 days
against damage or theft up to $500 per claim and $50,000 per account.
和UA不同
所以不完全是因为visa，和chase也有一点的关系

其实amex有一个program是auto purchasing
是帮你买新车和dealer谈价格的
凡是不擅长砍价的人，利用这个可以拿到接近最低的出门价
不过这个不需要交年费的amex卡

另外purchase protection up to 10k,理赔也很痛快
八月份出游时买了个propane lantern,回来托运过程中灯罩砸了
打电话过去,对方就问了一下啥时候买的怎么坏的,啥书面的东西都没要求提供,
24小时内credit就打到卡上了
对应之前用citi dividend买的一把折刀,自己磨给磨坏了
结果又是要填表又是要提供第三方statement,还要寄过来寄过去,最后给了张check
折腾得多得多,而且上限就500.
所以现在买大件如果可能出现意外损坏的也是用plat,也是图个放心. |

果人家因为网页上一行字 availability: more than 10, 给拒了， 硬说是limited
supply。也不看看那家网站上所有货品都有这个，只是小于10个才显示具体数字。

但是UA要好过CSP，因为UA cover up to $50,CSP就是一次是$59.95

maximum of $50 for each service event, up to four events each year.

偶有一个staple买的第三方的东东50块钱，但疏忽了staple 14天退货的事，找chase了。
1个月了还没结果哈呵呵。
不知道palladium卡怎么样？有试过的哈呵呵？

citi lost damage protection 才 1000max per item， 而 chase csp是 10000， ame
x好像也挺高的
citi price protection 是 300max，chase也要高不少出来

收据。比如xxx放在baggage里delay了，然后在delay期间等不及再买个新的，操蛋的玩
意。租车就更让人着急了，什么狗屁条款paper一堆，最后是cover了，但是中间废掉的
时间和精力让我宁愿买amex保险。
amex plat订票baggage托运被砸了个坑，没有箱子收据，客服让我随便在网上截图，然
后按截图价直接退款。
csp就是个转点的工具，实在不值得交一毛年费。plat鲁完mpx和offer远比csp值，350
刀citi prestige就更完爆csp了 |

东西的单子，很快就收到理赔支票了。我理解，他家是需要证明行李晚了你有cost，啥
也不影响啥也不缺的话，就不管了。
另外，baggage 坏了和晚了不是一回事啊。
