问题是：我是不是必须在今年12月31日前消费1W才能拿到companion pass了？这也太紧

发帖数: 3634 | 3 so let's say you want a '14/'15 companion pass. for example for your biz
account say you have 3 months to spend $2000 to get your 50k points, and the
statement closing dates for those 3 months are 11/27/13, 12/27/13, and 01/
27/14. You need to spend $2000 in that 12/27-01/27 period so you get 50k
points + 2k points in the year 2014. Now the same thing needs to happen for
your personal card, meaning hopefully the 3rd statement closing date is in
January of 2014.
Now, say you want a '13/'14 companion pass, you need to get your biz card $
2000 spending before the December closing date. and you better already met
the requirements for your personal. otherwise you need to spend $2000 on
that too. Then you will have 104,000 points. Then you gotta grab 6k points
from somewhere else. All of this needs to be done before December. As you
can see that is pretty difficult.
In summary, I really hope your personal card has the 3rd statement closing
date in January.
PS: That remaining 6000 points can be obtained with manufactured spending or
some other methods. I'm sure somebody else on this board has more knowledge
on that. |

我举个例子，假设你13年10月15日，申请了两个sw卡，一定要让两个5w的积分在14年计
入你的账户，而不是13年，具体怎么操作，你考古下。基本就是14年的第一个账单才达
到开卡2000，同时还在申卡的三个月内。
这样你的sw账户，14年就累计了10w点，随后当你在14年某一天累计分数达到11w时，就
可以买一送一了。

不能让13年拿到2个5W。。。。
因为sw的计算是按照 1.1---12.31 这个周期计算的
如果你的10w点在13年拿到了，那么14年1.1号开始，你的累计点数是0，不是10w
