You Point for every dollar you spend on purchases (no other transactions qua

Some offers may allow you to earn more than one ThankYou Point for every dol

ants, including fast food restaurants, (4) motion picture theaters and (5) v
ideo entertainment retail stores (“qualifying merchants”). The offer to wh
ich you responded describes how many ThankYou Points you earn. Bookstores ar
e defined as stand-alone merchants that primarily sell, for consumer use, bo
oks (including textbooks), magazines, maps and calendars. Record stores are
defined as stand-alone merchants that primarily sell, for consumer use, reco
rds, compact discs (CDs), music and video laser discs, and blank audio and v
ideotapes. Restaurants, including fast food restaurants, are defined as stan
d-alone merchants that primarily prepare food and drinks for immediate consu
mption by consumers, either on the merchant’s premises or packaged for carr
yout. Motion picture theaters are defined as stand-alone merchants that oper
ate movie theaters and sell tickets as well as refreshments. Video entertain
ment rental stores are defined as stand-alone merchants that primarily rent
videotapes, laser discs, DVDs and video games for consumer use at home.
Purchases not eligible to receive additional points include, but are not lim
ited to, purchases made at warehouse clubs, discount stores, department stor
es and convenience stores. Online and catalog purchases are not eligible to
receive additional ThankYou Points unless the merchants appropriately identi
fy the transactions. We do not determine whether merchants appropriately ide
ntify all transactions you make on your Card Account, but we do reserve the
right to determine which purchases qualify for ThankYou Points. You may only
earn ThankYou Points on your Card Account as long as it is open and current
. ThankYou Points expire 5 years from the end of the month in which they are
earned unless ThankYou Rewards is terminated.
