。不接电话，不回email。十来天了。听说他家闹离婚，房子都要被银行收去了。LLC
注册的地址现在是他前妻住着，他已经搬走了，找不到人。强烈感觉这个人是准备破罐
子破摔了，不是耍赖，就是要申请破产。
请各位有经验的高人建议一下，我下一步该怎么做？ 怎样才能最大程度的挽回损失？

1) contact your state authority who issued contractor license. Normally,
contractor need to post bond for his license. (it will be$25,000 bond in
California.)
2) find a lawyer it your damage is greater than $10,000.
3) go to small claim court if your damage is a few thoustand dollar.
Rule #1: you should not pay any advance money to any contractor! | c*******1

You, as a home owner. You need to caculate the amount/damages your
contractor owe you.
Or You can ask some other contractors to quote you how much it costs to
finish the abandoned project.
Please prepare all your documents right now.( timeline, Receipts,Pictures,
Check you paid, Contract, Oral agreement etc.)
Then, you should send the contractor written notification that the
contractor has breached his agreement, and that the homeowner is going to
mitigate damages by hiring other contractors to finish the work. |
