另外根据TC，每个自然月头一次取钱，amex是不收费的，但是取钱的ATM机器上可能会
收。有谁知道哪个银行的atm机器取钱不收费?

着，也用Fidelity卡取过，的确没有。所有可以找一找附近的atm，看看有没有
surcharge free的，特别是加油站那边。

他说“surcharge free”，我网上查的时候确实都提到一般atm自己没费用的atm都会在
机器旁边写明这个surcharge free之类的
本来yudeli说的AP我正好有他用，如果能找到atm本身不收钱的，那我这个方法就能直
接免费取现了。以后amex prepaid再有什么dd拿钱的promo可以更放心跳不用担心钱出
不来
我等段时间自己取好钱再来update

用ATM必须找credit union或bank的，因为costco和便利店这种一般都有200上限，取一
次收一次钱,（这种ATM搞Amex Pass正好，因为Amex Pass每个月ATM也是$200上限）。
搞Amex Prepaid 1000块在这种ATM要取5次。
但Amex prepaid一个月只能取400，所以至少也要取3次才能取出，我这边找到credit
union最低$1.5一次，取三次成本$4.5。用Amazon Payment取出来成本$20。 |

我以前也用fid取过学校的Huntington ATM，有3刀atm fee，最后fid又退还给我的。

i guess we could reach one point of consensus:
we could take advantage of AP, but no abuse it
As of myself, I usually use like around 400 dollars a month in AP just to
cash out my VISA/MC/AMEX GC bought in the grocery store.
Actually, I always suggest not use the full 1000 limit each month of AP, coz
Amazon is not an easy guy to deal with
PS: I called a local credit union, and the CSR confirmed their ATM would not
charge fees. I would try to withdraw some money from my AMEX prepaid and
see if it's the case and I would update here. |

just my personal preference.
I've been using AP since Oct. 2007 when textpayme officially started using
AP platform. Most of time I use it for the sake of convenience, not trying
to milk it to the last drop. I'm too lazy to cash out AmEx prepaid card at a
local CU every month for 3 months.
there are lots of things I'm not willing to do - KTC, Mint coins, etc. Doesn
't necessarily mean that I think they are morally wrong or unethical, just
that I think the efforts/risks outweigh the gains. Again, my personal belief.
Do what you feel is acceptable.

specifically that I will be using a non-credit union debit card.
Of course, as we all know, what CSRs told us may not be always true, but I
figured out even if they charged me 2-3 dollars, it's still acceptable.

understand unitl I withdraw the money, show the receipt with $2 fee, they
still don't understand. those people only makes around $15/hour,what do we
expect them? most people over here are much smart then them. I paid $2 for
$400 cash and deposit to back account right way, it is ok since $400 cash
back is $4, earn $2 at least and don't have to remember how much is left on
my prepaid card.

他说“surcharge free”，我网上查的时候确实都提到一般atm自己没费用的atm都会在
机器旁边写明这个surcharge free之类的
本来yudeli说的AP我正好有他用，如果能找到atm本身不收钱的，那我这个方法就能直
接免费取现了。以后amex prepaid再有什么dd拿钱的promo可以更放心跳不用担心钱出
不来
我等段时间自己取好钱再来update

用ATM必须找credit union或bank的，因为costco和便利店这种一般都有200上限，取一
次收一次钱,（这种ATM搞Amex Pass正好，因为Amex Pass每个月ATM也是$200上限）。
搞Amex Prepaid 1000块在这种ATM要取5次。
但Amex prepaid一个月只能取400，所以至少也要取3次才能取出，我这边找到credit
union最低$1.5一次，取三次成本$4.5。用Amazon Payment取出来成本$20。 |

我以前也用fid取过学校的Huntington ATM，有3刀atm fee，最后fid又退还给我的。

i guess we could reach one point of consensus:
we could take advantage of AP, but no abuse it
As of myself, I usually use like around 400 dollars a month in AP just to
cash out my VISA/MC/AMEX GC bought in the grocery store.
Actually, I always suggest not use the full 1000 limit each month of AP, coz
Amazon is not an easy guy to deal with
PS: I called a local credit union, and the CSR confirmed their ATM would not
charge fees. I would try to withdraw some money from my AMEX prepaid and
see if it's the case and I would update here. |

just my personal preference.
I've been using AP since Oct. 2007 when textpayme officially started using
AP platform. Most of time I use it for the sake of convenience, not trying
to milk it to the last drop. I'm too lazy to cash out AmEx prepaid card at a
local CU every month for 3 months.
there are lots of things I'm not willing to do - KTC, Mint coins, etc. Doesn
't necessarily mean that I think they are morally wrong or unethical, just
that I think the efforts/risks outweigh the gains. Again, my personal belief.
Do what you feel is acceptable.

The CSR did tell me it's no fee for other cards as well, coz I asked very
specifically that I will be using a non-credit union debit card.
Of course, as we all know, what CSRs told us may not be always true, but I
figured out even if they charged me 2-3 dollars, it's still acceptable.

understand unitl I withdraw the money, show the receipt with $2 fee, they
still don't understand. those people only makes around $15/hour,what do we
expect them? most people over here are much smart then them. I paid $2 for
$400 cash and deposit to back account right way, it is ok since $400 cash
back is $4, earn $2 at least and don't have to remember how much is left on
my prepaid card.

It won't work even you try to use it as a debit card. (ie, use pin).
It has to be used as a credit card at POS.
