it is in this case (cannot find it) for about 3 months. no fraud charge on
my card so far.
I talked to the company, and now it issues a new card with same number, with
new expiration date (I guess the old one is expiring). my question is:
1) is the three-digit code on the back the same?
2) how differences are the back strip?

the card physically so naturally a fixed number beats the purpose.

Don't worry about being issued a new card number, because it does not change
the opening date of the initial credit line (or account). I have a card
from citibank that I requested to change types several times over the last
decade and on the credit report, the opening date of the current account
