Gables Apartment (Pleasant street )” 的朋友麻烦回个贴
1) 这个Apartment管理如何? 希望安全干净就行.
2) 从这个Apartment 乘公交去DownTown(1st Ave. )是否方便, 一般要多长时间?
3) 不会开车，周末购物(grocery)是否方便?

发帖数: 411 | 3 Never lived there, but two friends lived there before and I used to drive by
for 2-3 years on my way to work. Decent condition, nice looking complex in
a not so safe neighborhood, probably because of the corner convenience store
and bus stops. Bus stop right across the street, but takes a good ride to
get to downtown, metro transit website can give you estimate on traveling
time, my guess would be 25-30 min. | R****y

not a problem, the neighborhood near minneapolis campus is probably worse
than the ones around st paul campus, if you are interested in staying close
the U. If you work downtown, and not planning on driving, one of the
apartment complexes in downtown is probably safer and easier for commute,
but grocery shopping may be a challenge and the rent is more likely to be on
the high side. If you are planning on staying in mpls for long, might as
start learning how to drive.
