small cities to live in and this year Eden Prairie topped the list.
Why is Eden Prairie No. 1 this year? Not only is it family-friendly, it has
a dynamite economy too, according to CNNMoney.com.
At 5.1%, its unemployment rate is nearly one percentage point below the
county rate and more than four points below the national average. It helps
when you've got 50,000 jobs right in town.

school will our little cutie xiao Dai go? Ours is Ceder Ridge elementary, 1.2
mile away from the house. Maybe we can attend the "jia zhang hui" together
someday, haha. The house is right next to Riley lake.
Not sure whether we can get the house, though, since we just started the
process.

发帖数: 5750 | 14 就我的知识范围以内，重新划定学校不是第一次搞，也不会是最后一次，主要目的是让
各个学校都有足够的生
源，主要是中部重新划分来均衡学生数量。角边上的影响不大。除了forest hill小学
名次不行外，cedar ridge 基本
上保持了名次，另外两个小学又进步退步但是变化不大。涌入的索马里人主要居住在东
北边（forest hill 小学）
的apartment里面，也不排除有逐渐渗透西北的prairie view elementary的可能，但是
对于相对于富裕的其他区域，
影响不会很大。

高尔夫，另外有不少maserati,lambogini,ferari,porsche开出来，BMW,audi基本上都
是淘汰给teenage学着玩得，如果是caddilac SUV，估计就是人家保姆的买菜车。

Elementary is not important, High School counts. That website is ok.

有些校董和教育局长得私心，他们有孩子在上小学。影响不好的是小学变成K-6，
which is not as good as K-4/5-6 alignment.
现在已经上K的不受影响，没上学的都受影响。老师怎末分配是个大问题，
有可能使整个学区质量下降。

The goal of redrawing is to reduce the gap of racial profile between elem.
schools.
In Forest Hill, nearly 50% are Somalis. They will be bused to other schools
from
2011 school year; The scores will show the effect by then, not now.
In my opinion, EPS can afford a bad school in a big district, but cannot
afford
a bunch of mediocre schools
