PlanA. You get the island. But you will let go a good deal of oil and fish
resource.
PlanB. You lose the island. But the other side will give you much more oil
and fish share. | s*****n 发帖数: 839 | 2 The negotiation can go like this:
Let's start with:
The boundary line: Follow Japan's suggesion
But: In Chun Xiao3-- oil wells' number 1:9 for Japan:Mainland China
If both sides can make agreement, then done.
If not, what if 1:8, 1:7, 1:6, 1:5, 1:4, 1:3, 1:2, 1:1?
Any time can reach an agreement then done.
Or, if any proposal above can't make the deal:
How about:
The boundary line: Follow Mainland China's suggesion
But: In Chun Xiao3-- Oil Well's number 1:9 for Mainland China: Japan
If 1:9 doesn't work, how about 1:8, 1:7, 1:6, 1:5, 1:4, 1:3, 1:2, 1:1?
Keep going this math and this way of searching for solution.
A balance point will be found eventually if we serach hard sincerely.

用中文吧,看着累 | s*****n 发帖数: 839 | 4 I can't use Chinese at work. Sorry.
But what's going on now is only worse than my suggestion.
And, if, though the likelihood is pretty low, a war begins, all other
countries will be very happy actually. They would love to see a weaker China
and a weaker Japan.
When there is a conflict, if one side is much stronger than then the other.
A
war is unavoidable.
When they can compete, a war is only damaging both. What they can get from a
war sometimes doesn't worth the war at all.
If the problem is not solved, it will be used as an excuse for a war sooner
or later, which I hate to see.

问题是,双方不承认有争议,而且主张“赢家通吃”
