"Likely scenario:
China ends up like India or South Africa in term of economic development.
Different factions in government get stuck in deadlock, so do the growth of
the country.
Worst case scenario:
General population fell for the “democracy solves all problem” crap and
adapted whatever system west says is best for the country. Election would
soon be hijacked with a foreign power secretly bankrolling/supporting one of
the puppet party. The country would be opened up to the west and the
economy immediately dominated with no domestic competition. China would
become a colony under capitalism. There would be no hope to advance because
the country had already submitted under “international” rules made by west.
People would become dissatisfied because they were staying poor or getting
poorer. But the foreign controlled media would never blame the “democratic
” system or the west. Fingers would be pointed at different social/economic
/culture/minority groups. The political landscape would soon become like
Taiwan today except MUCH worse. If this version of China has miraculously
made it to 2020 without breaking apart, it would be at the verge of another
huge civil war." |
