citizens have any religious affiliation (including Christianity), you don't
want that wall "torn down".
Unless, that is, you want the Roman Catholic coach of your local (mostly
Baptist and Church of Christ) high school team leading the players in a (
totally optional but it's the coach leading it so, you know...) recitation
of the rosary. Or a Muslim principal ending daily announcements during home
room period with a prayer in Arabic. Or a Unitarian teacher offering a
prayer in class to the all-inclusive Deity before an exam. |
