Dr. Deborah Birx said US officials 'didn't know how contagious' Covid-19 was
at the beginning of the outbreak
Birx also said this hindered the US's ability to properly prepare for the
pandemic
She claims that early reports from China didn't account for asymptomatic
cases or mild disease instances
Both President Trump and Vice President Pence have accused China of
