Honda was going to move production to China before any Trump tariff.
It's all about margin and China gives more margin even with a lower selling
price. What did people actually think the USA could compete with the third
world making anything?
Also, China already had massive import duties on foreign made cars. A WRX
costs $115k in China.
But please, go buy a third world produced Ford Ecosport for $27k with a
shitty engine that can't drive on the highway and get better than 17mpg. |
