going to take lots of years to do what you want. That's after getting past
regulatory hurdles and especially the enviros who hate manufacturing, mining
, logging, etc and will fight it tooth and nail. Plus the electrical grid,
which is now considered creaky, would need to be massively upgrade which the
enviros would fight too. All the stuff you need takes time and isn't just
growing on trees just over the hill or off the shelf at your local Walmart.
The biggest hurdle is that the US is no longer a country coming together but
a place where every self interested group, whether they be BLM the climate
changers or dindus looking for ever more handouts or stupid politicians
creating sanctuary cities or gays, tearing the country apart for their own
selfish reasons. Trump is being blamed for tearing the country apart, which
started long before he was elected, but it only accelerated under him as the
self interested parties accelerated their efforts as they are afraid they
may lose their current and hoped for in the future power and perks. Plus
thanks to the US hegemony efforts countries are now looking to be more self
sufficient or gravitating to the Russians and Chinese as they have proven
they can be trusted and the US isn't unless they bow down and kiss our ass
at their expense. Even then the US is untrustworthy.
Thus kiss US exports goodbye as China grows theirs at US expense. The real
elephant in the room is US debt and it's huge spending on the military and
it's overseas adventures. Bring the troops home, closing bases, and
downsizing the military would be a boon to the economy but it ain't gonna
happen no matter who's president. It's the behind the scenes psychos who are
in charge and it's their wish to keep the war machine rolling. | k*******g
