If our Army had said this it would have carried more weight. We cannot trust
this jumla government in winning anything. It is a war situation, so we
will never know.
More important is what has our gov learnt from it? Will we make progress in
making more roads on the border? Will we make progress building roads
through Bangladesh? Will we wean our dependency on China?

If India has to be "first", a proper conducive business and related
atmosphere has to be created on an equal platform. That's not being done by
the pothead PM and for a fact he will never do. If he encourages lynchings,
pseudo nationalism,"throwing " vague non existent promises declaring that
all will become "fantastic " by 2022 etc, India will fall behind even a
failed State called Pakistan. The fact is India is fast heading toward being
a failed State. You may become emotional or show off your "ultra patriotic
" fervor. It will all bein vain. Accept it... China is way way stronger than
India.

It's a positive development to resolution of the issue, but China is a big
loser in the process as its belligerence has alienated Indians encouraging
them to boycott its products.
