The IT job market in India is seemingly crashing. There are reports that the
information technology firms in India are in the middle of one of the
largest job cuts ever seen in this Industry. Nearly 2 lakh jobs are at stake
, with big-ticket companies looking to both hand over pink slips to
incumbent employees and hire fewer talent.

Problem is with Indian engineers they don't upgrade skill after graduation
which is mostly rote learning, passing exam , studying just for exam. Very
few Indian engineers has practical skill. Even teacher has no skills, most
of them are just has bachelor degree, none has any industry experience
neither has published any papers nor read any journals or visit any other
industry to give presentation on current happening in Industry, because of
eco system problem in India and Indian mindset. Most of them just show up
morning and go back to home in the evening, teaching "for loop and if
statments" day in and day out. Engineers once get job want to become project
manager and manage stupid waterfall projects which are dead decade ago, PMI
became rich with Indian passing PMP in droves, they are out of touch with
technology, has no skill which can add value to client and company. Indian
IT industry grew in Y2k and then came ERP wave of writing code in pl/sql or
SAP, ERP will be dead in few year and that will kill most of jobs in India. | m********5
