Trump is sticking a finger at the establishment, the elite, who, although he
is rich, does not accept him. This makes him very popular with the T-Party
and the working class. If that boring Ross Perot could be a viable third
candiadate, certainly Trump could, er, trump his performance.
Two things dangerous about him, as far as the political establishment is
concerned, are:
1) He is widely recognized and is popular in the mass media.
2) Even worse, he is independently wealthy and doesn't need the
establishment cronies for financial support.
Will he be a good president? I have no idea. |
