He is a tenured professor. There is nothing you can do to hurt
him from that side. Harvard is a private institution, you can't
make a big deal alleging wasting tax dollars.;-)
On the other hand, you may file a grievance complaint to the
MA bar. His might have committed extortion, and intentionally
misled a person with his professional background. The former
is a criminal offence, the latter is an ethical lapse.
You may also contact the D.A., and urge him to weigh in.

比如一个系被砍掉）或者没钱缩编。当然后者有规定必须先从没有tenure的砍起。另一
种情况是for cause.比如性骚扰。滥用经费，学校资源之类也可以成为理由，但界限在
哪里不像性骚扰这样清楚。如果用学校的计算机发个和工作无关的email肯定不能作为
被fire的理由，不然估计没有哪个能幸存下来。但是学校如果真想赶你走人，还是有办
法的。通常的办法是和你谈判让你自动辞职，如果不辞职的话学校会把你翻个底朝天。
比如把你的所有经费使用情况一笔笔的拿来检查，派IT检查你的计算机里有没有黄片，
查所有你发过的email。除非你平时真的特别小心，不然很难不被查到这样那样的问题。
我们知道有个tenured的教授，被学生告性骚扰，provost决意叫他走人。但学校的调查
委员会没法证明性骚扰这件事。最后学校就是找了个其它的理由吧他给开了。 |

you can't literally fire a tenured professor, you can always force him to

所谓学校不能fire一般是不能用performance这样的理由。但你偷东西，性骚扰这些事
还是能被fire的。
