obstacles in jurisdictions and investigation of the crime, it is an action
that obstruct the justice.
By the way, if they are not involved in the crime and believe that SW is not

find the real criminal so that they can clear SW of suspicious completely?

No it's not. If it's everybody's right to remain silent, then you can't
fault them for utilizing that right. It's also everybody's right to
carefully choose their words in response to police questioning to avoid
creating the wrong impression. Her fear stated in that letter was realized,
as everything she did or said had been twisted as "proof" of her guilt. If
she made a comment, it's to cover things up. If she stop making comments,
then it's because she had something to hide. If she ask for lie detector
test, it's because she knew it's unreliable. If she didn't ask for lie
detector test, then it's because she don't want to be caught in a lie. etc,

mean they are hiding anything. It's only a prudent response in the
environment that exists.
Just because you want them to speak in a certain way, does not mean they
have any obligation to do so. And it certainly doesn't prove that they were
guilty of anything.

solely on the fact that they want to "carefully choose their words".
Here's your original statement:

Now, I don't know what kind of "truth" you are expecting out of them, but by
the definition of "obstruction of justice", it must be something that will
