One of his poems, entitled “Destiny,” began by asking: “What is law?”
One of its stanzas read:
“Please wait, darling!
This is not like sex
You have to taste blindly
Because you’re at puberty.”
Another stanzas:
“I’m innocent until proved otherwise
You do not have to be in a hurry to tell me:
I do not have a private attorney
The ACLU will not help me
I do not have anything
