美国政府正试图开发一种“地雷式”嵌入软件，使其“潜伏”在社交网站中，监视并扫
描危险性言论，预防恐怖行为、解读可能发生的重大事件。但计算机网络技术专家认为
，实现这一设想比较困难。
FBI称，社交网站（如：Twitter、Facebook、博客、论坛等）
在传媒中扮演的角色越来越重要，如有灾难来临，它的反应速度远远超过传统媒体，甚
至超过警方、消防部门、急救部门和新闻记者。
目前，美国数百名情报专家正致力于分析Twitter和Facebook等社交网站上的言论对“
阿拉伯之春”一类国际大事造成的影响。FBI认为，开发一种集成性更强的网络软件，
过滤整个互联网的信息，要比人工分析筛选信息更有效，美国防部及国家情报局对这一
想法也表示认同。
FBI正在寻求的社交网站监控软件必须要具有地域警报提示功能。针对特定的突发事件
和威胁，还要能快速汇总一系列相关信息 -- "who，what，when，where and why"。
然而，在社交网站上“埋雷”意味着民众的隐私将受到严格监视，美国隐私信息保护组
织--电子隐私信息中心（EPIC）负责人麦考尔（Ginger McCall）认为，FBI无权监视网
上的自由言论，除非是出于明确的执法目的。
他说：“如果联邦政府无时无刻不在监控你的言行，你的讲话方式和行为方式都会受到
影响。”，如果没有适当的监督，这种项目根本就不应当进行。
FBI在声明中则辩称，他们设想中的软件系统仅用于监视涉及的犯罪活动，而不是监视
单独的用户或团体的言论和相关信息。
美联社称，尽管信息分析在今天的情报界已不是什么新事物，但社交网站的普及却使网
上信息量及信息种类激增。Twitter首席执行官科斯特罗举例称，一场比较受人关注的
会议，在短短几日内可能收到10亿条微博留言。
FBI构想中的软件面临着许多技术难关，如何处理如此庞大的信息量
就是第一关。此外，一些技术专家提出，
如何让电脑识别信息含义是最难解决的。在网络上，每个人的发言风格都不同，该软件
需要识别每条信息中的“潜台词”，比如，辨别发言者是在开玩笑还是在发表声明，此

It becomes a very boring job. Not much new stuff everyday but you need to
write differently everyday, just not letting your boss to think that you
just copy and paste your yesterday's report.

她每天要看很多入籍的申请，主要是看申请人是不是在lie.
她看起来就是一个普通的人，也是亚裔，最近刚跟移民局续签了1年。
不过她对自己的职业很敏感，跟我说她一般很少跟自己的朋友谈她的工作，呵呵。

You cannot use your FBI badge to avoid a traffic ticket unless you are
the field agents who are speeding for your legitemate work.
Of course, if you really on business, even the police issue tickets.
you just disregard it. Once the court finds that is the Fed car,
what can they do? Asking tax payers to pay the fine?
