Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) on Thursday said Democrats have an “incredible
propaganda machine,” comparing Democrat proficiency to that of a Nazi
administration head.
“If Joseph Goebbels was around, he’d be very proud of the Democrat Party,
because they have an incredible propaganda machine,” West told reporters in
the House, according to multiple reports.
The National Jewish Democratic Council released a statement later in the day
condemning West for “invoking the Holocaust to make a political point.”
NJDC President and CEO David A. Harris called on West to apologize to the
Jewish community and “the Americans who fought valiantly to defeat the
Nazis." |
