Detail's probably fake. CCP doesn't try and kill someone in secret. If
they can get to the trial, that means no more serious resistance to the
trial, therefor it can get into the open anyway. If there are serious
enough resistance, they would bury it without making any move.
But I don't doubt Qian sold out state secret for selfish financial gains. I
would be surprised if any of TG's officials didn't/
