The death of a gorgeous California woman - found hanging naked from her
boyfriend's balcony with a rope around her neck and her hands and feet bound
- has been ruled a suicide.
But her family doesn't believe it for one minute.
Rebecca Zahau's family has retained a lawyer and is insisting they will not
rest until the findings point to homicide.
"We, her family and friends, do not believe it's a suicide. There are still
unanswered questions," the 32-year-old woman's sister, Mary Zahau-Loehner,
told the San Diego Union-Tribune on Thursday.
Zahau's body was found July 13 outside her boyfriend, multimillionaire Jonah
Shacknai's 27-room, beachfront mansion in Coronado, a swanky, hotel-dotted
island off the southern California coast.
Shacknai, 54 and Zahau, a divorcee, had been dating for about two years.
Shacknai's brother, who was staying in a guesthouse at the mansion,
discovered the woman's body hanging from the second-story, outdoor balcony.
He cut her down and called police.
Jonah Shacknai was not at home at the time.
The disturbing find came just two days after Shacknai's 6-year-old son was
found unresponsive at the bottom of the stairs in the same house.
Authorities have deemed the fall accidental.
The boy, Max, was eventually taken off life support.

Zahau-Loehner said investigators were unconvincing during a visit to her
home in St. Joseph, Mo., this week.
"It doesn't add up," she told the Associated Press. "Nothing adds up."
She said authorities told her they found no suicide note, but shared text
messages on her sister's phone from month's earlier about "issues" between
her and her boyfriend's children.
Zahau-Loehner added that she spoke to her sister the night before her body
was discovered, and she gave no indication that she planned on killing
herself.
Zahau said her sister told her she was going to bring Shacknai breakfast and
clothes the next morning to the hospital where his son was being treated.
She also mentioned that she planned on calling her parents.
"Too detailed planning for someone who's planning to end their life that
night," Zahau-Loehner said

直接跳过。
湾区那个女生倒是值得mourn一下。华人还是太松散，这些事没人领头张罗。实际上大
家都想出点力，找个公道，就是不知道该怎么办。
华人还是需要多几个像样点的律师才好。wsn们有机会多转转法律吧，都来美国了选择
这么多，别一辈子就奉献给了编code刷试管。 |

@ plsstoptheHate101, you do realize that photo has Photoshop and airbrush
elements to it? Funny, society so quick to call a altered picture of a woman
"beautiful" or "gorgeous" but if she had no make-up on, and went all
natural, she's ugly. I'm sure after the picture was taken she assisted them
on how she wanted the picture to look, you can do that you know. |
