in the property not belong to you. In China, the property still belong to
the owners.

l********k 发帖数: 14844 | 13 you are absolutely right. the end results are the following though: the
poor are driven out of their houses and
the house/land becomes the state property/bank's property. and the rules
are the same too: only when you got
money, can you protect yourself and your family.
the key difference, as you pointed out, is the legitimacy issue. in one
country, you have a piece of contract while
in the other nobody has it. in one there are written rules and the other
one hidden. it is really up to you to
decide whether there is a real difference on the more macroscopic scale.

In China even worse, even the legal owners can be driven out by the
government.

l********k 发帖数: 14844 | 15 that's correct. the situation is worse in china. in US, people at least
know what's going on and at what will
happen to them at what time (if they are able to read the bank statements or
can afford an accountant). whereas
in china, you can't get useful information from the TV or anywhere publicly.
the only source is the insiders. but
if one knows any, he/she would probably not be driven away in the first
place.
