100%自杀或自杀未遂,实际上美国监狱自杀率并不高,大概是监狱外自杀率的3~4倍.
The suicide rate in county jails was calculated to be 38 deaths per 100,000
inmates However; suicide is still the single leading cause of unnatural
deaths in local jail, at a rate of 38 deaths per 100,000 inmates. This
suicide rate is over 3 times greater than that in the general population.
