China has ignored India's advice and clubbed Pakistan with its Premier Wen
Jiabao's visit to Delhi. Sources said India had advised China through
diplomatic channels that Jiabao's trip to Islamabad after Delhi might lead
to an adverse reaction in India and send wrong signals. India also pointed
out that other world leaders had heeded to similar advice. But China appears
to be impervious to India's concerns. In recent times, he is the only
leader among the permanent UNSC members to club trips to India with Pakistan.
The Chinese decision is also being seen as a tit-for-tat reply to India's
decision to attend a ceremony in Oslo where jailed Chinese dissident Liu
Xiaobo will be honoured with the Nobel Peace Prize.

International media outlets, however, failed to mention the absence of
Indonesia, the world’s third-largest democracy, at the ceremony. Most
outlets did not mention that Indonesia was one of 19 countries boycotting
the ceremony to honor the Chinese human rights activist.
