标 题: 请问打了flu shot的小娃也有可能得flu吗？

娃今年打过了flu shot，但昨晚开始发低烧，然后今天上Pre-K时学校的护士说他烧到
101 F了，让我们把他带回家了。到家后还是有些烧，而且流鼻涕，眼睛也会流泪，偶
尔咳嗽。我觉得有些象是flu的症状：
fever (usually high) - 最高烧到101度
severe aches and pains in the joints and muscles and around the eyes -
这个倒是没有
generalized weakness - 这个倒是没有
ill appearance with warm, flushed skin and red, watery eyes - watery
eyes
headache - 这个倒是没有
dry cough - 偶尔不时咳嗽
sore throat and watery discharge from your nose - sore throat没有，有
watery discharge from nose
School nurse也说现在学校里开始流行flu了。
想请问下有经验的家长，打了flu shot还有可能得flu吗？谢谢啦！ |

所以你打了的时候还是可以被传染 |

flu vaccine for the year is based on the viral strains in the wild observed
last year plus prediction based on cyclical data, so its strain coverage is
not 100%, but usually above 70%. it is said the 2003/2004 winter coverage
was below 50% when data was analyzed after the season.

Does flu vaccine work right away?
No. It takes about two weeks after vaccination for antibodies to develop in
the body and provide protection against influenza virus infection. In the

Can I get seasonal flu even though I got a flu vaccine this year?
Yes. The ability of flu vaccine to protect a person depends on two things: 1
) the age and health status of the person getting vaccinated, and 2) the
similarity or “match” between the virus strains in the vaccine and those
circulating in the community. If the viruses in the vaccine and the
influenza viruses circulating in the community are closely matched, vaccine
effectiveness is higher. If they are not closely matched, vaccine
effectiveness can be reduced. However, it’s important to remember that even
when the viruses are not closely matched, the vaccine can still protect
many people and prevent flu-related complications. Such protection is
possible because antibodies made in response to the vaccine can provide some
protection (called cross-protection) against different, but related strains

，但也不是100%的。

另外感冒和流感是不一样的。
