发帖数: 623 | 1 在网上搜了好久，找到了一个网上评价还可以的大夫。今天领导拔智齿出来，大夫说把
旁边的给带掉了一个，还说不影响咀嚼。当时很傻没有拿任何的证据。回来越想越不对
。打电话有人说刚掉下来的牙可以置回去的。打电话过去给大夫，大夫说那个牙已经不
行了，不能置回去，说bone已经不行了，hold不住了。我问他当时为什么提都没提牙不
行了，而且直接把牙给扔了。他说对不起当时没有告诉我，他可能免费给我们做这一颗
牙，但是要在其他的牙健康的情况下，大概意思说旁边的也要置，说了一堆名词。我说
我不明白，让他把解释发给我，我要研究一下，直到现在我都没有收到任何email，就
连x-aray都没有发过来。我总觉着要么是这个大夫的技术有问题，要么故意作了来揽置
牙的生意。
我现在没有任何主义了，不知道应该怎么办。
现在怕他们抵赖说我们自己掉的，而且也不放心在他那里置牙。麻烦大家给出出主意。
也请懂行童鞋给科普一下专业知识。多谢各位了。 |

It can be a mixture of reasons. Was the wisdom tooth impacted? Was the
next molar relatively healthy (no infection or large cavity)? Any
periodontal disease in that area?
Short of an implant (which drives an artificial root down), a denture
replacement will need to be fixed onto the prev tooth/teeth:

In this case two factors are likely, possibly both:
1. The impacted wisdom tooth has weakened the root of adjacent molar
2. A bit too much force on the wrong place during extraction
(Chance for deliberate action is not high - right now he's got an unhappy
patient and no extra $$ ahead.)
Trying to have a rational discussion with the dentist is helpful. If you
are still dissatisfied, see someone else in the future.
Compensation-wise, you are not gonna get much more than what has been
offered (i.e. cost of restoration) because (1) it's tricky to prove this was
highly forseeable & preventable and (2) the health consequence is minor. |

implant in his place, even he offer this for free.
We are really not happy with him. I am wondering if I should put a comment
in Yelp, later.

It is close to the second molar, but not stick together.

For a theoretical possibility see this pic below. An impacted wisdom tooth
can weaken the other molar (and/or it's surrounding bone structure). So
what when the former is pulled out the latter could be damaged.
If the alignment between these two are abnormal,

应该是impacted. 不过都漏在外面，应该不会这么容易就被带掉。这个牙齿从来没有什
么问题的。请问这种情况应该大夫操作不当的造成的。另外一边的牙齿是松动，同样的
情况，反而没有带下来。
