or internal medicine training can practice as general practitioner. The
subtle differences are:
1) Family medicine doctor can see kids as well, while internal medicine
doctor cannot. If you want your entire family see the same doctor instead
of a separate pediatrician, you should pick a family medicine doctor.
2) Some family medicine doctor deliver baby as well, while internal medicine
doctor cannot.
