Macrobid, 也就是Nitrofurantoin（wiki出来的），吃一个星期。
想请教一下，吃这种抗生素是不是安全的,对baby有没有伤害? 多谢 | f******I

macrobid is category B for pregnancy, which means it's presumed to be safe
from animal models, from what i could remember the only antibiotics for sure
to be safe is ampicillin,

treating bladder infection? If ampicillin also works should I request my
doctor to prescribe ampicillin instead of macrobid?

as far as i know macrobid has better coverage for gram negative bacteria
such as E. coli which is one of the most common bacteria for urinary tract
infection,
