difference on accuracy or convenience. Many manufacturers can give the
glucomer for free while make money on the test strips.
If you are really sensitive on the price, try to get some generic brand
glucomers and can get the test strips cheaper, too.
Try to ask around if any pharmacies have their own brand glucomers and how
much they sell for test strips. | u*****d
发帖数: 1009 | 3 Glucometers differ little in terms of their accuracy. Some are bigger, some
are smaller and easier to carry around. Some require more blood where
others require less blood for testing. Also, some require coding for each
new roll of strips where others don't.
I think the Ascensia Contour is one that doesn't require coding, which saves
the trouble for a lot of elderly people, and the reading is pretty fast,
about 15 seconds. I personally think it's a good choice.
