miscalculation, she found she would need one more month supply for the
insulin injection needles before she go back to China
Did anybody buy the insulin injection needles here for your parents before?
Thank you very much for any input and suggestions! | u*****d 发帖数: 1009 | 2 In some states, you can buy insulin syringes with needles directly from the
pharmacy.
My suggestion for you is to take a small vial of your mom's insulin to the
pharmacy, ask the pharmacist which needles you should buy. There's a variety
of needles.
Also, there's a limit to how many syringes/needles you can buy per day, you
will also sign your name in a log for legal purposes.

pharmacy may have records, some do not. So if you shop around to different
pharmacies, you can get them.
There are 1cc, half cc and 0.3 cc syrances. The needles are catagerized by
gauges and length. The larger number the gauge, the thinner the needle, the
less pain when injection, howevre, the most fragile. Some patients with
thick skin can not use large gauge syranges, for example, 31 gauge, because

I'm living in NJ. Just called CVS, the pharmacist said that I need a
prescription to buy the syringes. Will try Walgreens later, hope they can
give me a different answer. | l********8 发帖数: 491 | 5 you should be able to get 10 insulin syringes without a rx. try a few
different stores. Some pharmacists would do it, some don't. | t********6 发帖数: 41 | 6 Tried a Walgreens local store yesterday. The pharmacist told me that NJ
state law prohibits to sell syringes without prescription.
And, guess what? I successfully bought two boxes (100 syringes each)of
NovoFine insulin injection needles last night online from Walgreens' website
. No prescription required! Haha....
Hope this information could help others. |
