this kind of thing. Never think dietary supplement (DS) (a type of food) as
medicine. It's a less regulated industry because they are regulated as special
food. as long as DS don't claim any medical effect and do not contain any
active drug ingredient, they can be sold in the US as DS with proper label on
it.
For what you mentioned, because anything containing carcinogenic ingredient
will violate Delaney Clause.
