I said that. I also said the diffusion capacity is diminished so even if the
patient was on 5L O2, the oxygen she breathed in cant pass into the
pulmonary capillary. but my attending said there are more in the story. he
said I should think about cardiorespiratory system together. I checked that
during exercise pulmonary vascular resistance is increased as well, so there
is V/Q mismatch. anything else?

发帖数: 1274 | 6 COPD patients can‘t supply enough O2 despite on 5L O2 because of reduced
DLCO, unlike normal ppl.
So a better way is supply is limited and demand increases.
