I was diagnosed with a mild version of asthma. All those, I guess,
relatively mild symptoms.. such as chest tightness, throat irritation, mild
cough, a bit of short of breath... etc.. but never suffer acute problems, or
wheezing, etc...
And so far, I didn't take any medicines yet and hate the feeling of constant
discomfort.
Right now no cure for asthma. So my question is: in this risk/benefit
tradeoff, should I try to take some inhalers, etc to make myself feel better
, or should I live with my symptoms to minimize any side effect from
medicines, until it develps into a more serious stage?
would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you. | A*******s 发帖数: 9638 | 2 It depends since there is no cure. But did you see an alergist? | on 发帖数: 199 | 3 I didn't see an alergist yet. My pulmonary specialist kind of dismissed my
complaints, probably due to my relatively mild symptoms. And he advised that
I could take inhalers IF it makes me feel better. That is why I'm not quite
sure if it's worthwhile to do it, or let it be.
When I asked the specialist whether I should see an alergist, he thinks only
if my alergy gets very bad, and he doesn't think my case is that serious
yet..
