Isn't this another round of debate on 'MADE in China'? It's more about US
jobs and bad economic downturn, isn't it?
i found this surprising since i have not been aware of the following, also
from this article:
'It is hard to believe that it already has been three years since the
contaminated blood thinner heparin, which authorities believe originated in
China, killed several people and caused multiple cases of serious illness.'
Whenever the media says 'quality' issue from 'made in China', i am very
curiouse as to why there is no brand/companies name of the product? Like
those toxic toys, it's after read Chinese news i learnt it is FISHER. But in US
other than China's toxic toys, no where to see anything about Fisher.
Same case is here, what is the brand of that tainted made in China drug?

1. Expensive drugs， too much to afford, especially for those who has no
insurance. So there is a market for ppl who would like to purchase cheap
alternatives from overseas, even with some risks there.
2. Cheap Drugs, who is going to make it in the U.S? No profit at all. Vit
B12 1 mg for IM is always out of stock. Drug companys like to make brand
name sublingual or nasal spray.

I am not aware of any drugs imported from China. I am aware there are always
some drugs in nationwide shortage. I assume if it could be produced
overseas, there would not be any problems.
