average hourly wage for internal medicine physician is $34.64.
My hourly wage for being a consultant is $300.
that's my weekend additional work only.
and by the way, my work has zero risk and only consists of software analysis.

As CMG, I've said all along, I don't believe one can be given motivation.
Money talks. Passing the board is equivalent to saving of 200k and 4 yrs of
time. No better motivation than this.

In average, I worked 15 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Compared to top school phd students, postdocs and AP's working hours, physician's working hours are nothing.
After getting tenure, it's a different story for Assc. P and Full P.
