Immediate Internship Position in Clinical Informatics, Interventional, and
Translational Solutions (CIITS) Department, Philips Research North America,
Briarcliff Manor, NY
Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to conduct
research in the area of machine learning for the classification of medical
images. A thorough understanding of tissue classification in medical imaging
domain, in combination with a strong background in image processing,
machine learning techniques, and medical imaging modalities (including
ultrasound, RF and MRI) are essential for this position.
Key areas of research will be the following:
Design, development and experimental validation of multi-modality images for
tissue classification
Your Profile:
We require the following credentials for this position:
-Minimum M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or
Electrical Engineering.
-experience in industrial or academic research, in the medical domain.
-Knowledge of the medical domain.
-Demonstrated background in the area of machine learning and medical image
processing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Matlab programming is expected.
