https://apps.ankiweb.net/
note: different versions for different platforms---PC vs Mac vs mobile,
etc...
B. Create one flashcard ONLY with a front field and back field at a time
1) create a template flashcard with a front field and back field in Anki
2) "copy" and "paste" images of interest into front field---as many as
you like
3) "copy" and "paste"images of interest into front field---as many as you
like
4) click "add" and "close"
5) now a flashcard containing images is added to Anki
6) this method is good at inserting images randomly from internet into
your flashcards/notes
C. Insert an image file with known name on your computer
1) Anki is essentially an HTML Editor.
2) so an image with an known name can be inserted manually
3) use PDF-Xchange viewer to convert FA2018 into image files with
extension ".png"
1 image/page---see Section D
4) during reviewing one of my flashcards and I want to insert page 200
of FA into this flashcard
5) the file name is FA2018_Page200.png
6) open HTML editor from Anki and paste/type in and press "add and close"
7) now an icon appears in this flashcard but I cannot see page 200 of
FA2018
8) Anki keeps image files and media files in a special folder called
collection.media
copy/move FA2018_Page200.png to this folder
9) now return anki flashcard again---page 200 of FA appears in Anki
flashcard
10) on my computer here is the "collection.media" located
C:Userschen_AppDataRoamingAnki2USMLE_Step2collection.media
11) if all image files of FA2018 are copied and moved once to this
folder at the first place
no need to repeat step8/9/10---just use step6 to insert whatever
page into anki card when needed
D.Insert multiple images with know names (Part3 in the future)
