s******n 发帖数: 65 | 1 Got a lot of help from mitbbs. Now doing my pediatric training in NYC. Here
is what I saw in my program, may reflect some community program in NYC.
We do take "old" graduates age of 40s. the suggestions I can give are
1. High score. duo 250+. that is one of few thing can impress PD. PD doesn't
want to hire anyone may fail the board exam. high usmle score is re-
assuring.
2. all " old " graduates in my program have previous clinical experience. (
experience in China does count). some already did fellowship in UK. PD
favors these people although some are "old".
3. network. If you do have good relationship with program, it helps. even
you fail cs, low usmle score. like husband/wife already in program.
Good luck! | g*********w 发帖数: 1 | 2 That's helpful, thank You! |
