我猜各位可能已经收到自己州参议员的回信。应该是自动回复的。 我收到加州参议员
Dianne Feinstein的回信。她说她和其他民主党的参议员正在尽力减少联邦政府对联邦
经费包括GME和儿科医院GME的经费消减。

almost all subspecialties. See following links. GME is also included. So
there is expected to be stable slots , if not decreased, in the coming years

I can foresee that if next president would be Hilary Clinton, whose idea is
also called hilaricare, reimbursement cut and GME would go from bad to worse

education (GME) funding. Your opinion is very important to me, and I share
your concerns about this critical issue.
Throughout my tenure in Congress I have strongly supported graduate
medical education. This program is essential to provide for physician
training and increasing patients' ability to access care. You will be happy
to know that I am a proud cosponsor of the Physician Shortage Reduction Act
(S. 577), which would expand GME residency slots by 3,000 per year for 5
years, for a total of 15,000 new slots. I also proudly cosponsored S. 1557
, the Children's Hospital Graduation Medical Education (CHGME) Support
Reauthorization Act of 2013, which reauthorizes the CHGME program through
fiscal year 2018. I am happy to report that S. 1557 passed the Senate on
November 12, 2013, and is currently awaiting action in the House of
Representatives. Please rest assured that I will continue to fight for GME
funding to ensure that New Jersey patients have access to quality,
comprehensive medical care. |
