1. Know every faculty. Know what their subspecialty is and show your
interest in what they are doing by commenting on how interesting their work
is and how their work is going to have the impact on your practice (
theoretically) and how you want to participate in their clinial study (
simply doing scut work and seeing more patients). By doing this, let people
know that you are very energetic and ethusastic, let them know that you WANT
TO work your tail off (not just be ok with the busy work). Don't confess
that you want to do basic research during residency. | S**********e
