For the 1st time traveler, you may wanna check mta.info before you board on
any train for current service change
Cellphone signal is just horrible, if not impossible in the tunnel. So plan
ahead.
It won't affect if your arrival place is LGA.
For EWK, JFK, Penn Station or Grand Central, try to get onto either E or N
or Q and follow the transfer info listed on mta website or above.
Again, NO 7 train on Manhattan this weekend!

LGA is pretty close to flushing so I'm sure some bus should do the same job
for you. But I have no idea which one is correct. I suggest you going to mta
.info and use its TripPlanner App to get a better idea. It won't take you
too long and the info is definitely correct.
Just one thing, if you take the bus, you'd better prepare 10 quarters (2.50
usd) unless you have a metrocard. NYC bus doesn't take 1 dollar bill. I'm
not sure if you can get a metrocard at LGA. You'd better ask ppl working
there.

发帖数: 1879 | 7 昨天趁老闆不在跑去島上看一個朋友的朋友拍的短片。然後跟個小朋友吃飯聊了聊。
十一點多往回趕路過grand central赫然看見7號線沒有的標誌。
想說來發個帖吧，上次就有人因為這個迷路遲到的。
最後補一句，紐約地鐵雖然複雜，但是還算人性化，只要平時地鐵能到的站，週末無論
如何改線還是能到。plan ahead. 地鐵站裡改線的標誌信息都是大poster，每站都有。
影響大的，比如7線，多半會給出suggested alternative route，a4的紙貼在相關站的
月臺柱子上。多留意。一切以地鐵站看到的信息為主，don't trust google map at
this moment. It doesn't include the info of service change.
