h****i 发帖数: 91 | 1 Lots of people took CS in Chicago, LA, Atlanta,Texas, but I have not seen
any CS experience in Philadelphia, just want to know more details about
choosing the test center. Does it matter? Many Thanks! | s*****x 发帖数: 16 | 2 I took CS at Phily in early Feb. The overall experience was great, I feel
all the SPs were professional and nice. If you detect some "negative" or "
indifferent" moods, interpret it as part of the case that requires your
attention as a physician. Most exam takers were medical students in short
lab coat, guys in long coat were only two including me. I chose Phily
primarily based on the location, and honestly don't believe it really
matters that much where you take CS. Focus on your prep, and you will be
fine. | h****i 发帖数: 91 | 3 Good to know! Thank you very much! | u*********n 发帖数: 93 | 4 Agree with supervx. Took mine in Philly in march too. It's newly renovated,
clean and bright. The staff and SPs are reasonable

for the CS in Philly? Thank you very much!

?? Anyway I had a good experience at Philly. On my test day, half of testers
are international: 2 chinese, 3 indian, 1 parkistan. The lunch was
delicious, much better than what I expected. I guess I was the only one who
ate two full plates of tasty pasta on that day. So you can tell I m not a
buyer of all rumors about Philly at all. Personally I think as long as you
have prepared well for CS, go with the test center that is the most
convenient to you. If you live in northeast quite long as me, it may be hard
to understand Southern accent which could be a problem potentially.
This is the hotel I stayed: http://embassysuites3.hilton.com/en/hotels/pennsylvania/embassy-suites-philadelphia-center-city-PHLDTES/index.html
It is in downtown Philly, 15 minutes driving to the test center. But the
parking fee is extra, around $35 if I remember correctly. You can bid it
under $120 on expedia.
Hopefully this is helpful for all CMGs who may take CS in Philly in the
future. Any Baozi for me????????? | h****i 发帖数: 91 | 7 The detailed info you gave here is very helpful! Many many thanks! I would
like to give you some BAOZi, just do not know how, can someone teach me? | u*********n 发帖数: 93 | 8 forgot to mention there is a parking facility right across the test center.
it cost about $20 to park there, then you can cross the street and walk to
the center. on your test day, be calm, dress appropriately, smile, show your
confidence, then you will be fine. CS is just another snag to iron out,
nothing else. good luck!

| h****i 发帖数: 91 | 10 Just want to update, I asked a medical student, she said most of the
students in east coast took CS in Phily center and she did not find anyone
complained about the typing speed in March 2012. Maybe they replaced all the
old computers? Does anyone know? |
