发帖数: 46 | 2 After my CA letter expired for two months, I called the lady who was
responsible for my case, explaining nothing changed except I started intern.
Finally she allowed me to renew it, which means no money needed for a new
one. I got the renewal approved last month.
I think u should always call them first if u don't know what to do. Be
nice and kind to them. Better to renew it. Apply a new one from the start is
time,energy and money consuming.
And for those who has an active CA letter, plz don't forget to renew it
before it expires, it is free, in case in the future u will practise in CA,
even u are doing residency outside of CA now.

website for CA letter.

activities to update the board about what you have been doing following your
last PTAL issuance.
