2. Try to make friends in your daily life;
3. Know what happens everyday;
4. Read USAnews on ipod;
5. Dress formally in observation;
6. Be honest and keep your promise;
7. Try to get help from everybody in observation, e.g. medical student;
8. Get good information from nurses and other people;
9. Give other people a good first impression;
10. Try to follow a good attending for a long time;
11. Make full use of iphone, ipod touch in observation;
12. Try to get reference letter from nice doctor (tell from her/his eyes);
13. Before finish observation, send thank you letters to doctors;
14. Can start collecting reference letters from now 4/8/2012;
15. Try to get reference letters as early as possible (May- June), not in
a rash;
16. Provide the draft if the doctor wants;
17. Get contact information (email and phone number) from the doctors you
followed;
18. Provide reference letters of the doctors from the same department as
the one you plan to apply;
19. The reference letter can be used to prove your personality;
